Data-driven, luxury ecommerce product page experience

Data-driven re-design focused on boosting add-to-basket and conversion rates, with a clean, refined aesthetic that elevates the brand towards a more luxurious, premium experience.

Immersive gallery experience

Suited to the product being marketed, a full-bleed gallery experience beyond the carousel was developed. This visualises the product in one viewport and encourages conversions of a product many like to purchase after seeing in person.

Inspired by iOS app experiences

Data insights in Hotjar recordings showed issues with key product information being housed in an accordion section. This led to a newly developed multi-drawer app inspired experience to reduce the cognitive load and make text heavy sections easier to digest.

Reduced overcrowding and clear visual hierarchy

With such a large product catalogue a number of design elements were stripped back to ensure clear navigational paths and a stronger visual hierarchy to visualise product collections and sub collections. A grid structure was introduced to ensure intuitive and consistent positioning of key interactive elements such as back buttons and the x to close drawers.

Utilising a data driven approach

Initial wireframes were guided by in-depth analysis of competitor sites within the higher end furniture sector as well as google analytics data and hot jar recordings. Clickable section titles was just one such change implemented in response to the findings.

Utilising third party apps to drive growth

From the Okendo reviews app, to the Advanced Commerce merchandising platform, I'm experienced in using numerous Shopify integrations of leading applications to accelerate development of the product and growth opportunities.

Functionality beyond aesthetics

My design process digs deep into product functionality, considering the outcomes of every interaction. From stock levels to delivery timings, I explore all scenarios to ensure a seamless, frustration-free experience across every touchpoint.
